We have arrived. It's like I intentionally skipped over 2020. . .with good reason! Actually, I just got lazy. Instagram became a place to document daily life with a simple caption and a published book every 60 photos so it seemed simple. But it was in fact, a time suck. So much time was spent scrolling, looking at everyone's feed. There was always a book recommendation, recipe, health advice, fashion tips, biblical inspiration. You name it, Insta has it! Unfortunately I used it to numb my mind, wasting countless minutes, not being the best version of myself because I was too distracted. Couple this with Covid-19 and hunkering down at home and you can see we have had quite the year!
New year. . .new opportunity to grow and put the phone down. 2020 was a force to be reckoned with. It is the stuff my grandchildren and future generations to come will read about.
We interupt this program. . .but Anjalene got her first college acceptance letter tonight. Wasn't expecting this until March. Things just got REAL!!!!
