So after a week of crown molding, painting, stairs, and granite. . .
(in other words: utter chaos) we were blessed by a text message from a sweet girl on Thursday morning.
She offered to watch our kids (at her house) last night.
Of course we jumped.
Even in our exhausted state, we knew offers like this were a true gift from above!!
We dropped the kids off with their swim suits, favorite Seeds CD, and board game and headed off to enjoy some time without the kiddos!!
We started off our night at Tuesday morning--perusing, just because.
A pair of boots, three kid's outfits later we ended up at Chilis where we enjoyed an adult meal with adult friends.
My, oh my-it has been awhile.
The conversation was varied. . .memories of our honeymoon, our dog Bandit and tickets were so refreshing and funny and light!!!!!
I'm not sure who was more excited about tonight. . .us
or them?
God knew just what we needed to rejuvenate our little spirits and give us a pep to our step!!
