  1. today was the first chance I've had to visit your site and look at the pics you posted since Thursday. What you said about your uncle Ted on Friday's post is right on. When he wasn't drinking he could be a truly incredible man. You'll never know how much I loved to see him happy and enjoying life rather than loathing it and hiding from it. At times he was like a great big teddy bear full of hugs and love. your right, talking ill of the dead is senseless and accomplishes nothing. I'm not sure if you noticed but I pulled my Oh Brother and Oh Brother updates from my website Thursday evening as soon as I got home from papa's. The post titles are still there but the writing is gone. Those things that I wrote about no longer matter and it does no good to speak ill of the dead.

    I always loved my little brother no matter what, but I didn't always like him, especially when he'd been drinking excessively. He will always be in my heart. I hope he's found peace
