May 16, 2011

When I first met him, he was just a little boy: a six-year-old who had just finished his kindergarten year.

Now look at him--he's practically a man. Seventeen-years-old and off to prom.
Seriously, it has gone much too fast.
Time, that is.
His nickname, "Little" no longer fits the big body he has grown into.
But the sentiment attached to the name makes us all cling on for dear life.
It may not have always felt like it to him in the early years, but what a blessing that he has the love and support of so many in his life.
It may have taken a little bit, but he brought two families together and made us one.
Each of us wanting what is best for him and loving him. . .
and now he's almost a man.
