Our Summer Session of Schoolwork is in full effect!
Thankfully, so far there have been few complaints.
Multiplication tables, journals, phonics, and a ton of reading greet us each day.
Our mini-version of a homeschool situation, I guess.
I just finished, The Reading Promise by Alice Ozma.
It's the true story of a girl and her father who began with a pact to read nightly for one hundred days.
They then increased it to one thousand.
Then their reading streak developed a life of its own.
